Day by Day
Day 1 Mombasa to Tsavo East to Salt Lick
Early morning departure from your Mombasa or Diani beach hotel and drive to Tsavo East National Park.
On arrival, begin your first morning game drive in Kenya’s largest park. Tsavo East is famous for its red elephants and wide open landscapes. You may spot herds of elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, gazelles, buffaloes, leopards, waterbucks, impalas and many bird species.
Lunch will be served at Voi Wildlife Lodge or Shasha Camp.
After lunch, drive toward Taita Hills Sanctuary with another game drive en route. Arrive and check in at Sarova Salt Lick Game Lodge, built on stilts overlooking a salt lick and waterhole visited by wildlife throughout the day and night.
Relax, enjoy sunset views, followed by dinner and overnight at Sarova Salt Lick Lodge.
Day 2 Salt Lick to Mombasa
After breakfast, depart for a morning game drive in Taita Hills Sanctuary. Continue wildlife viewing until lunchtime with chances to see elephants, zebras, buffaloes, antelopes and predators.
Return to Sarova Salt Lick Lodge for lunch.
After lunch, check out and drive back to your coastal hotel.
Arrive in Mombasa or Diani Beach in the late afternoon or evening with wonderful safari memories.
