Day by Day
Day 1 Mombasa to Tsavo East
Early morning departure from your coastal hotel in Mombasa or Diani Beach to Tsavo East National Park.
On arrival, begin a morning game drive through Kenya’s largest park. Tsavo East is famous for its red elephants and wide open landscapes. Expect to see elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, gazelles, buffaloes, leopards, waterbucks, impalas and a variety of bird species.
Check in at your lodge and enjoy lunch. After lunch, relax before heading out for an afternoon game drive to search for more wildlife.
Dinner and overnight at Voi Safari Lodge or Manyatta Camp.
Day 2 Tsavo East to Salt Lick
After breakfast, enjoy a final game drive while exiting Tsavo East National Park.
Drive to Taita Hills Sanctuary at Salt Lick and enjoy a game drive en route to the lodge. Check in and have lunch.
After lunch, relax at the lodge until the evening game drive around 4 pm. The sanctuary has plenty of resident wildlife. Enjoy game viewing until about 6 pm.
Dinner and overnight at Sarova Salt Lick Lodge.
Day 3 Salt Lick to Mombasa
After breakfast, depart the lodge with a last game drive while checking out of the sanctuary.
Drive to Voi town for lunch.
After lunch, proceed back to your coastal hotel, arriving in the evening with lasting safari memories.
